Now stepping back in front of the camera, she brings a holistic approach to performance, shaped by her extensive industry experience. She hones her craft through weekly screen acting training with Kacie Stetson. Having grown up in Aotearoa—with the Kiwi accent to match—Ying also carries the influence of her Chinese heritage, speaking basic Cantonese and Mandarin.
